In recent months, we have secured the projects that are most beneficial to the region and its electricity grid, while minimising their environmental impact and maximising their performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among these projects, the Atacama PSH (450 MW) will be able to store and redistribute nearly 3,600 MWh per day by 2031.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/www.hyvity.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/HYVITY_Atacama_Chile-Subs_ENG.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;It will enable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>A reduction in CO2 emissions in the region;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The stabilisation of the electricity grid and a reduction in curtailment phases;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The resumption of the development of new solar infrastructure in the country;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The closure of fossil fuel energy production infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to their expertise and through topographical, environmental, social and technical analysis, Hyvity and its Chilean partner Susterra have identified a dozen potential sites in northern Chile.
